D2D is an initiative by like-minded souls who have come forward to bring awareness towards worthy causes and support the deprived children who cannot afford treatment and education. The event is supported and organised  by Neville Endeavours Foundation along with the D2D team.

The Team D2D receives support from the running communities  in Chennai – Chennai Runners, Dream Runners, Cool Runners and Chennai Trekking Club. The event is also supported by Tamilnadu Cycling Club which organizes the cycling event along with Team. This edition is also supported by the Cancer Institute (WIA), Adyar. 

The Chennai Volunteers team supports D2D in organizing the volunteers team for the event, who come from Corporate companies in around Chennai and students.

D2D has inspired many runners to run, cycle and take part for a cause towards supporting the needy children for many charitable organizations. Through running and cycling activities, D2D Marathon has found numberless ways to help and inspired thousands of veteran and first-time runners and cyclist to take part for the cause. D2D aim is to also spread awareness about the cause through the event.

D2D is conceptualized by Neville Endeavours and his team. The D2D is 6 hours of Running & 6 Hours of cycling event with a huge participation of 4,000 – 7,000 participants every year which includes children, adults, runners and cyclists taking part in the event.

Neville along with his D2D team has raised quite a substantial amount till date in the last 6 years through Dawn to Dusk and Dusk to Dawn Night Marathon. These funds have been put to use for the rehabilitation of Cerebral Palsy children and contributing towards the Therasuit, one of its kind in India, also the funds have been used to build new classrooms, toilet blocks, and has also supported organ donation for children and children affected by cancer.
